As Indians in Sydney, we respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, work, and celebrate together. In Sydney, we honor the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, whose cultural heritage and deep connection to this land span thousands of years.
We pay our respects to their Elders past and present and acknowledge the continuing connection they have to the land, water, and communities. We are grateful to share in this land’s rich history and seek to learn from the wisdom of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
